We believe in rewarding our members! With our 90th anniversary member referral program, you and your friends can both pocket $45 each! It's simple: refer a friend through online banking or our app, get $45, repeat. The best part? Refer as many friends as you like for unlimited rewards!

Every GTE member has a unique code to use when referring new members. Get your code and track your referrals in GTE Online Banking, under 'Rewards' in your 'Everything Else' tab.

How to get your $45: 

1. Provide your unique referral code to those you refer
2. You and the member you refer must be enrolled in eStatements
3. Member referred must open a GTE Checking Account and/or Personal Loan within first 30 days of joining

*Member Accounts must be active and cannot be closed or restricted at the time of payout. Both referring Member and referred Member must be enrolled in eStatements with all accounts in good standing, including no prior charge-offs or having caused a loss to the credit union. The referred member must not have been a previous member of GTE Financial. The primary owner of the new account must be at least 18 years old. The new Member must fund the Regular Savings Account and open either a Checking Account or Personal Loan within 30 days of establishing membership. A personal loan is defined as an unsecured closed-end loan. Credit approval and an initial $5 Member Owner Share deposit are required. All loans are subject to approval. Regular Savings Account Annual Percentage Yield as of 10.17.2024 are tiered rates as follows: $0.00-$99.99 = 0.00%, $100-$499.99 = 0.75%, and $500+ = 0.15%. All Checking Annual Percentage Yields are accurate as of the last dividend declaration date. A $45 referral reward will be deposited into the referring Member’s account and the new Member’s account within 7 business days from eligibility. The promotion is available for referrals made between January 1, 2025 through March 31, 2025. Promotional dates are subject to change at the discretion of the credit union.
